DETAILS
It’s here!
The SIG Custom Works Jack Carr + Winkler Knives Limited Edition P226 MK25 pistol.
This pistol is a tribute to the weapon that was on my side for every deployment. Even in those times when I had to take off my body armor and leave my M4 behind, my SIG P226 / MK25 was at the ready. It has always felt like a natural extension of my hand.
It is so near and dear to my heart that it had a starring role in unraveling the conspiracy in my debut novel, THE TERMINAL LIST.
The Winkler RnD Compact Hawk is a testament to the tradition of warrior culture.
Limited to 213 pistols which also happens to be my BUD/S Class number.

THE HISTORY OF THE CROSSED HAWKS AS TOLD BY JACK CARR
“The crossed Winkler RnD Tomahawks were the only natural choice when deciding on a logo for my post-military life. To me, they represent strength, capability, freedom, and a tie to the old ways. I had chosen the Winkler Tomahawk as the weapon of choice for James Reece, the protagonist of my debut novel, because I wanted a totem that spoke to Reece as a student of war – an ancient tool crafted into a modern implement by master bladesmith Daniel Winkler.
“Tomahawks hold a special place in the community of warriors. American martial tradition traces its use back to the French and Indian War, when Robert Rogers’ standing orders concluded with, ‘Let the enemy come till he’s almost close enough to touch, then let him have it and jump out and finish him up with your hatchet.’
“At my military retirement in 2016, I gave each of my children a set of gifts: a Bible and a compass to help guide them, The Constitution as a reminder of our rights and freedoms, and a Winkler RnD Tomahawk representing the means and will to defend them.
“Not long after, I placed two of those tomahawks together on the floor of my office and snapped a photo. After reaching out to Daniel Winkler for his blessing, the die was cast, and the Crossed Hawks logo was born.”
