THE TERMINAL LIST: DARK WOLF

Tom Hopper is Raife Hastings

‘Terminal List’ Prequel Series at Amazon Adds Tom Hopper As Series Regular

Hands down the most frequent question I am asked across the board is “who will play Raife Hastings?” I could not be more FIRED UP to announce that Tom Hopper has joined The Terminal List family as Raife Hastings first in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf – the Ben Edwards prequel origin story – and then in True Believer.  The prequel series from Amazon Prime Video is set five years before the events of The Terminal List and also stars Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards and Chris Pratt as James Reece.

Filming starts soon! HERE WE GO!

“Thank you for the keys to Raife Hastings Defender 110”, Hopper said on an instagram post.

Find Tom in the popular Netflix series The Umbrella Academy and starring as Billy Bones in the Starz series Black Sails.  You can also check out his performances in Game of Thrones, Merlin, Barbarians Rising, Love in the Villa, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and Terminator: Dark Fate.

From Variety

“Dark Wolf” was originally announced back February 2023, at the same time it was announced “The Terminal List” was being renewed for a second season. Hopper will star in the series alongside Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards, Chris Pratt as James Reece, and Jared Shaw as Ernest “Boozer” Vickers. All three of the other actors originated their roles in Season 1 of “The Terminal List.”

The Plot Unveiled: “Dark Wolf” is set five years prior to the events of “The Terminal List” and focuses on Edwards as he goes from life as a SEAL to a CIA paramilitary operator. The series is co-created by Jack Carr and David DiGilio. Carr is the author of “The Terminal List” book series that serve as the basis for the original show, while DiGilio developed “The Terminal List” for television and serves as showrunner. Both Carr and DiGilio are also executive producers on “Dark Wolf,” with DiGilio showrunning the prequel as well.

“Jack Carr is probably the most disciplined writer I know, incredibly prolific,” DiGilio told EW in 2022. “So we are very lucky to have multiple seasons ahead of us.”

Kitsch will executive produce in addition to starring, while Pratt executive produces via Indivisible Productions. Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick executive produce through Hill District Media. Former Army Ranger Max Adams and former SEAL Shaw also serve as writers and executive producers on the series. Frederick E.O. Toye will direct the pilot and executive produce. “Dark Wolf” is a co-production from Amazon Studios and MRC Television/Civic Center, Media.

Tom will appear as Raife Hastings, first in THE TERMINAL LIST: DARK WOLF and then reprise his role for TRUE BELIEVER!

Danger Close with Jack Carr

Today’s guest on the Danger Close Podcast is my former BUD/S classmate and Navy SEAL Teammate Mark Greene.  Join us as we reminisce about our time in BUD/S, share stories from deployments, and reflect on the profound loss of our brothers in arms. Mark’s post-military path took him to the University of Southern California, where he played a crucial role in veteran programs and fundraising. Mark’s latest accomplishment, the book UNSEALED, is an open, honest, unflinching account of a life in the trenches.
