THE FOURTH OPTION Podcast Episode 4

John Devine / Rescue 22 Foundation

Today on DANGER CLOSE: THE FOURTH OPTION, I’m joined by my former Navy SEAL Teammate John Devine of Devine K9s and the Rescue 22 Foundation.

John brings decades of experience working with elite K9s, from the SEAL Teams to personal protection dogs and service dogs for veterans.

We discuss the selection and training of SEAL K9s, the bond between handler and dog, how these dogs operate in combat, and what breeds like the Belgian Malinois require of those who take on the responsibility.

This is a companion podcast to my new thriller, THE FOURTH OPTION, talking to those on the front lines, analyzing modern warfare, and taking listeners deeper into the themes that inspired the novel.

This podcast series is presented by HUXWRX Safety Co., Staccato 2011, and Bravo Company.

Go beyond the books.

Jack Carr spent 20 years as a Navy SEAL, where he served as a Team Leader, Platoon Commander, Troop Commander, Task Unit Commander and a sniper. Now, he’s a speaker and the author behind the bestselling Terminal List series. Inspired by actual experiences serving in conflict areas around the world, the novels follow James Reece, a Navy SEAL who becomes embroiled in the world of conspiracies, international espionage and revenge.

On the Danger Close podcast, Jack takes fans beyond the books with conversations from real-life warriors, tactical experts and fellow writers about the world of the Terminal List, real conflicts, gear and a ton more.
