Chris Pratt’s James Reece Is On A Road To Redemption In ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2 Trailer
Prime Video has dropped the first trailer for Season 2 of The Terminal List, which finds Chris Pratt‘s Jame Reece seeking redemption and a new purpose.
“Before he was a fugitive, James Reece made a career out of putting terrorists in the dirt,” a voiceover is heard in the trailer. “He may be exactly what we need for this fight.”

Based on Jack Carr’s bestselling books, The Terminal List centers on Navy SEAL Commander “James Reece” (Pratt) as he battles unknown conspiratorial forces seeking to upend the world order. Season 2 comes from Carr’s second novel, True Believer, where he puts James Reece on a journey of violent redemption, finding a new purpose after finishing his list. The psychological revenge thriller of Season 1 opens up into a globe-trotting espionage thriller taking Reece across the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. In Season 2, Reece will uncover a conspiracy that reaches from Moscow to Langley and ties into his own family’s history.

Season one of “The Terminal List” was a monster hit when it premiered in July 2022. Fans watched Chris Pratt play Navy SEAL James Reece – a battle hardened SEAL on the hunt for revenge.
It was an epic season of TV. Instead of woke nonsense and fluff, it was nonstop action, carnage, violence and the unraveling of a dark and sinister conspiracy.
Now, Carr and Pratt are running it back for season two.
Judging from the preview, it looks like season two will keep the same electric energy and chaos of season one.

Chris Pratt Returns to Battle for Redemption in ‘Terminal List’ Season 2 Trailer
Chris Pratt is back battling unknown global terrorist conspiracies seeking to upend the world order in the first trailer for The Terminal List season two, which Prime Video dropped on Thursday.
But Pratt, as a traumatized and now fugitive former Navy SEAL James Reece, finds newfound purpose after being offered immunity if he helps the U.S. government pursue a former Iraqi commando to unravel a geopolitical plot involving a traitorous CIA officer and an assassination scheme.
Newcomer Gabriel Luna as former SEAL team member Freddy Strain offers Reece a path to violent redemption. “The president’s willing to grant you a full pardon for your crimes. We’re ready to give you your life back,” he tells Reece at one point in the trailer.

All About The Terminal List Season 2, Finally Premiering After a 4-Year Hiatus
The action thriller was officially renewed for a second season over four years ago, and it’s finally making its way to Prime Video in October 2026. The first season of The Terminal List, which is based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Jack Carr, follows Navy SEAL Commander James Reece (Chris Pratt) as he seeks revenge against the people who killed his family and uncovers a government conspiracy along the way.
Season 2 will follow the events from Carr’s second novel, True Believer, which tracks Reece “finding a new purpose,” per a Prime Video description.
However, Carr, who also co-created the series, previously told PEOPLE that the show will somewhat deviate from the plot of his second novel because of “some mandatory changes.”
In addition to Pratt, the second season also stars Tom Hopper, Constance Wu, Dar Salim, Luke Hemsworth and Gabriel Luna. Taylor Kitsch, who starred in season 1, led the spinoff series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which aired in 2025.
