Remember the Sacrifice, Honor the Legacy
American history is rich with untold stories of heroism. From the founding of our country to the taming of the West to the conflicts of the 20th Century, despite how much we seem to think we know, there is always so much more to discover. A group that has quietly served the nation proudly since 1918 are the Marine Scout Snipers. Their stories deserve to be told to inspire the next generation, and the Marine Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation is dedicated to building a memorial to our nation’s snipers.
The mission of the monument and organization is to honor the service and sacrifice of Marine Scout Snipers, from their inception in World War I to the present.
The monument’s design invokes history with a striking two-man Scout Sniper team, juxtaposed by a modern warrior alongside his 1918 counterpart, symbolizing the passing of knowledge and sacrifice across generations of Marines. Its proposed location is outside the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.

In addition to donations, the Marine Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation has crafted two limited edition products – a 7.62mm Flask and M40A6 Sniper Rifle decanter. The flask holds one shot of your favorite spirit and invokes the iconic phrase “one shot, one kill,” while the decanter uses the rifle’s moderator as the cap – once removed from the rifle your spirits flow freely from the barrel of the M40A6.

Sniper Cartridge Drinks Flask
This limited-edition drinks flask is an exact replica of the U.S. military’s ‘Long Range’ variant of the M118 7.62 x 51mm cartridge, known as the M118LR. This cartridge was issued to the USMC Scout Snipers for engaging & neutralizing long range targets.
The flask is an exact 1:4 scale replica that emulates all the key features of the M118LR. The removable ‘bullet’ is a clone of the 175 grain Sierra Match King Open Tip Match (OTM) head that was used in these cartridges.
M40A6 Sniper Rifle Decanter
The Marine Scout Sniper Heritage Foundation has worked closely with Hotspur to develop the ground breaking M40A6 Sniper Rifle Decanter. The M40A6 Decanter is an innovative and premium quality collectors piece, which will generate income for the foundation to further the Marine Scout Sniper War Memorial.
No stone has been left unturned and every detail has been covered. Hotspur was allowed to 3-D laser scan a real, issued, M40A6 sniper rifle and then use the resulting CAD to create the decanter. The rifle is correct in every detail. The level of detail is truly impressive.
