Signed limited edition bookplates only at independent bookstores
Last April as businesses were shutting down across the country due to COVID-19, I wanted to do something to drive traffic to local independent bookstores at a time when most people were sequestered in their homes. My small gesture of support came in the form of limited edition Savage Son bookplates available only through independent bookstores. I published the list of participating bookstores with contact information on my website and they sold out immediately. If you have one or can find one, hold onto it!

Chris Hunt is the incredibly talented illustrator and author of the graphic novel CARVER: A PARIS STORY. Now at Black Rifle Coffee Skunk Works he surprised me with a James Reece inspired work last year as I was putting the finishing touches on The Devil’s Hand.
He then went one step further and created a “GI Jack” graphic. Children of the 80s will immediately recognize the iconic packaging. CODENAME: Tomahawk is now this year’s limited edition signed bookplate to commemorate the launch of The Devil’s Hand.
