Books On Iran

A few books on Iran from my shelves to include Targeted: Beirut, my first non-fiction work written with historian and Pulitzer Prize finalist James M. Scott.

I read some of these selections in the SEAL Teams in preparation for deployments to the Middle East and others I’ve used as research for novels in my post-military life, specifically for The Devil’s Hand.

I highlight them here for those interested in establishing a foundation of knowledge and to provide context through which to evaluate the current conflict.   Which one should you start with?  Whichever one sparks your interest.

There are lessons in the pages of history.
