What are you carrying today?
I am loving this new Sig Sauer P320 AXG Scorpion. I just got new holsters for it from BlackPoint Tactical – I’ve been using their mini-wing (the same holster used by the protagonist of my novels, Navy SEAL Sniper James Reece) for the past five years. I have holsters to carry both with and without weapon mounted lights. I like options.
Why the two lights? If I am carrying with a weapon mounted light, then I also carry a handheld light so I have the option to illuminate something that might not need to be covered by my pistol. The weapon mounted light is the SureFire XC1. The handheld light is the Streamlight Stylus Pro.
Why the two blades? The AMTAC Blades Northman is reserved for fighting. The Half Face Blades folder is for everything else.
The belt is from Dynamis Alliance and holds a few “secrets” – check out the videos from Dynamis to find out more.
I’ve been wearing my ARES Diver-1 watch for over a year now and love it.
The Gatorz Wraptors are the same ones that accompanied me on every deployment. I should probably retire them and get some back-ups.
The wallet is from my friends at Ball and Buck – I think I have one of almost everything they make. . . except their Signature CJ-8 which is on my list. . .
