In April of 2020, as businesses were shutting down across the country, I wanted to do something to drive traffic to local independent bookstores at a time when most people were sequestered in their homes. My small gesture of support came in the form of limited edition Savage Son bookplates available only through independent bookstores. They sold out immediately.
I continued that tradition with THE DEVIL’S HAND. Those sold out immediately too.
Then came the “shot through” editions of IN THE BLOOD, ONLY THE DEAD, RED SKY MOURNING, and CRY HAVOC each one a one-of-a-kind addition to the library.
For the publication of THE FOURTH OPTION, I’m going back to where it all began with a four-part limited edition bookplate campaign featuring four collectible designs with original artwork by Sara Westman. Each one is signed and available only through independent bookstores.

How do I get a specific bookplate?
Each participating bookstore has one exclusive design only. To receive a specific bookplate, you must preorder through that bookstore’s dedicated link below. To collect all four, you’ll need to place an order through each participating independent bookstore.
What comes with this limited edition?
Each preorder includes a signed limited edition bookplate, sealed in an envelope with a sticker that matches the artwork. This edition is available only through the dedicated participating bookstore links below, while supplies last.
Will there be a shot-through edition?
No. Jack is reserving shot-through editions for the Terminal List series.
